GCSE DANCE TUTOR (MATERNITY COVER)
We are looking for an enthusiastic dance artist / teacher to take on the role of GCSE Dance Tutor (Maternity Cover) for our current GCSE Dance cohort.
 
The GCSE Dance programme is an 18-month part time course. The age range can vary from 14+. The class meets weekly during term time, Sundays from 10am-12.30pm.
 
You need to have experience working with Level 2 students and knowledge of the AQA GCSE Dance specification. You need to be passionate about working creatively and collaboratively with the education team to continue the course delivery in their weekly classes, with both the practical and theoretical elements. 
 
The contract is initially for the autumn term 2021 (12 teaching weeks), but may be extended.
 
You must be available for interview between 7-10 September 2021.

Box Office Assistant (KICKSTART ROLE)

We are looking for two passionate individuals to join our team. Based on the busy reception desk, the post holders will be the face of the organisation for our afternoon and evening classes.

Build your confidence, learn vital transferable skills and gain real experience of working in the Arts & Cultural sector with this Kickstart Scheme placement.
 
The Kickstart Scheme is a government fund, creating hundreds of thousands of paid, high quality 6-month work placements, aimed at those aged 16-24 who are on Universal Credit.

CASUAL TECHNICIAN

As a member of the technical production team, the post holder will provide high quality technical support (including lighting, sound, AV and stage management) and maintenance for all venues and equipment.

The position is based at The Garage, Norwich, with occasional travel to King’s Lynn paid for in expenses.

Marketing and Social Media Assistant (KICKSTART ROLE)

VOLUNTEER STEWARDS, DEPARTMENT: FRONT OF HOUSE

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our volunteer team. You will perform a vital role as the public face of the theatre during our performances, ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable and positive experience.

The role of the Volunteer Steward is to provide a high-quality experience for customers of The Garage. Responsibilities will vary for each performance and support and supervision will be given from the Duty Manager.

The Garage has a commitment to staff well-being, and has worked with the Thriving Workplaces team, Norfolk’s free workplaces health provider commissioned by Norfolk County Council to help us build a happier and healthier workforce.
