The Kickstart Scheme is a government fund, creating hundreds of thousands of paid, high quality 6-month work placements, aimed at those aged 16-24 who are on Universal Credit.

We are looking for a passionate individual to support the delivery of the organisation’s Inclusion and Diversity activity. You will lead on the facilitation of co-design and co-produced arts based project with targeted local communities.

Front of House Assistant

We are looking for an energetic and upbeat individual to help run our busy reception desk. The postholder will be the face of the organisation outside of normal office hours. You will greet building users, answer enquiries in person, via email and on the telephone and maintain a ‘can-do’ attitude at all times. Alongside reception and general administrative duties, you will be a key player in our sales and marketing plan, taking a proactive approach to promoting the building, our activities and upselling wherever possible.

Marketing and sales manager

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to drive marketing and sales activity across The Garage Trust’s two sites in Norwich and King’s Lynn. Increasing trading revenue, box office and participant income in line with business plan targets. Supporting the development of our brand and communications reach and to help make our venues – the place for performing arts.

VOLUNTEER STEWARDS, DEPARTMENT: FRONT OF HOUSE

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our volunteer team. You will perform a vital role as the public face of the theatre during our performances, ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable and positive experience.

The role of the Volunteer Steward is to provide a high-quality experience for customers of The Garage. Responsibilities will vary for each performance and support and supervision will be given from the Duty Manager.

SUPPORT WORKER

We are looking for a motivated individual aged 18+ who has a desire to help others and has an interest in the arts. You would join our busy team as a support worker, working with and supporting our children and young people through their chosen art form. The role will be based at The Garage in Norwich, but also includes work on outreach projects on a bespoke basis.

We are looking for an avid and willing individual to support children, young people and families who experience barriers to engagement to access the programme of creative activities that take place in The Workshop and the community. They will also be experienced in the delivery of performing arts classes, courses and programmes, and excited to bring their expertise to work with us.
