Box Office Assistant (KICKSTART ROLE)

We are looking for two passionate individuals to join our team. Based on the busy reception desk, the post holders will be the face of the organisation for our afternoon and evening classes.

The Kickstart Scheme is a government fund, creating hundreds of thousands of paid, high quality 6-month work placements, aimed at those aged 16-24 who are on Universal Credit.

CASUAL TECHNICIAN

As a member of the technical production team, the post holder will provide high quality technical support (including lighting, sound, AV and stage management) and maintenance for all venues and equipment.

The position is based at The Garage, Norwich, with occasional travel to King’s Lynn paid for in expenses.

FUNDRAISER


We are looking for a talented freelance fundraiser to help us raise
a minimum of £60,000 over 12 months for our ‘Big Breaks’ Bursary Fund. The Big Breaks Fund supports over 100 children and young people per year to take part for free in our wide range of performing arts participation programmes.

The fundraiser will manage their own time to achieve the £60k plus target within the 12-month period.There are no set working hours attached to this freelance contract.

EVALUATOR

As a Trust, we wish to engage a freelance evaluator to work across allfacets of our work, helping us to measure the impact we have and to carve out the space for conversations and shared learning both internally to support organisation growth/development and externally to support sector growth/development

This is a freelance role, with schedule, activity and mile stones to be negotiated with the Executive Producer.

VOLUNTEER STEWARDS, DEPARTMENT: FRONT OF HOUSE

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our volunteer team. You will perform a vital role as the public face of the theatre during our performances, ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable and positive experience.

The role of the Volunteer Steward is to provide a high-quality experience for customers of The Garage. Responsibilities will vary for each performance and support and supervision will be given from the Duty Manager.

We are looking for motivated individuals (18+) who have a desire to help others and have an interest in the arts. You would join our busy  team as a support worker, working with and supporting our children and young people through their chosen art-form.

are always on the look out for new freelance delivery artists in theatre, dance and music. Along with casual technicians.

The Garage has a commitment to staff well-being, and has worked with the Thriving Workplaces team, Norfolk’s free workplaces health provider commissioned by Norfolk County Council to help us build a happier and healthier workforce.
