CHILDREN IN NEED FILMING AT NORWICH CASTLE

17/11/2018

This year on Friday 16 November we were lucky enough to get 5 tickets for the filming of Children in Need, at Norwich Castle. Myself, Yax (Adam Yaxley, The Garage Inclusion Lead) and three participants we chose from our class program, went to celebrate. Needless to say, we were all very excited to meet Pudsey!

We set off on foot from The Garage and gave ourselves a team name, ‘team elements’ and each an element (I was fire) and made our way together to the Castle, Pudsey ears a plenty.

When we arrived at the castle, we got straight into our top priority, FOOD. And then with full bellies we set off upstairs, for the evening’s entertainment. There was a castle building competition, crown making, weather forecast presenting, dressing up, arms and armour talks and more. We also had rehearsals and prep for the filming for the live broadcasts. (I believe we all made it onto TV.) And most importantly…the young people got to meet Pudsey!

It was a really fun evening, and it was great to not only represent The Garage but also support Children in Need and celebrate all the fundraising and good work that we are all doing to support young people. Bring on next year!
