**My first Panto moves online**
Adam Taylor, executive director at The Garage, said: “This year, we wanted to make sure that grandparents, parents and their children could all enjoy the pantomime experience securely. This way, everyone can be a part of the fun, excitement and laughter in their own bubbles to ensure this key part of the Christmas calendar still happens albeit in a slightly different way.”
**classes during november lockdown**
Hello, we hope you are all keeping safe and well. We wanted to update you on our delivery plans during the latest Coronavirus lockdown.
All classes have moved from the studio to Zoom, as they did earlier this year. Zoom links, meeting IDs and passwords will be sent out ahead of the classes, which will remain in their original timetabled slots. They will end five minutes early to make way for the next class in the virtual waiting room.
If you haven’t booked for sessions yet but still want to take part, you can still take part. After which you’ll be sent an email with the Zoom details. Please do this as soon as possible so links can be sent out in good time.
For safeguarding purposes, the Zoom sessions will be recorded and stored in the cloud for two weeks. These will only be viewed by the senior management team if a concern around safeguarding or wellbeing of any participant is raised.
If you’ve any questions about delivery during the latest Coronavirus lockdown, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Further updates will be posted here plus on our Twitter, Instagram and Facebook pages.
The Garage just isn’t the same without the vibrancy our participants bring to the building. Our Zoom classes were fantastic, but we know you missed the energy of learning in a studio. We were as excited as you were when we reopened our studios in September. We’re as disappointed as you are that we’ve had to temporarily close them again, but your safety and the safety of our team matters more.
Taking a class is an ideal way to tackle the challenges of lockdown. We’re monitoring government guidance and maintaining all the precautions we put in place after the first lockdown so we’re ready to welcome you all back as soon as possible. In the meantime, we hope to see you on Zoom and back at The Garage soon.
