Performance Companies are for those with experience in their chosen artform, ready to commit to a year of developing skills through creating performance work for events. 
Selection is by audition and company members must commit to the full academic year. Auditions begin week commencing Monday 6 September 2021 and are free to book. You won’t need to prepare anything, these will take place in a workshop format.

If you’ve got advanced breakdance skills and want to share them with others, this weekly dance company will help you take your skills to another level. Develop choreographed and freestyle work for performances throughout the year. Participation is through audition only. This session will be led by Kel FX.

SCHOOL YEAR: Year 3-13

A dual-discipline ballet and contemporary company which creates high level pieces performed at dance platforms through the year. Ideal if you’re looking for a challenge, you’ll learn performance skills and techniques including structuring movement phrases. You’ll work on themes, improvisation and rehearsing.

AGE: Adult (16+)

A multi-discipline, pre-professional dance company for young people in year 7-11 with strong physical skills from any art form or performance background. You will have the chance to experience various genres such as street dance, musical theatre and contemporary. There is also personal guidance and support for students interested in progressing into vocational training.

SCHOOL YEAR: Year 7-13
AUDITION DATE: Wednesday 8 September


A multi-discipline dance company for young people with strong physical skills from any artform or performance background. You will have the chance to learn new techniques in a variety of styles with the opportunity to showcase your skills in performance.

Driven by young people, their voice is centre stage as they tell the stories they think need to be told with support from experienced professional theatre-makers in a nurturing, professional environment. Members will also work on a devised project of their own choosing.

SCHOOL YEAR: Year 11-13
AUDITION DATE: Tuesday 7 September


This programme will help bands or solo artists to develop their musicianship, performance skills and identity. The programme includes public performance opportunities, one to one rehearsal sessions, individual/band feedback, an opportunity to record demos, marketing and promotion sessions and more. Spaces are limited, the programme is free to attend and participation is by selection only.
