We have an exciting opportunity for young people aged 16-21 yrs to gain hands on experience of running music performance stages at two events Unsigned at the UEA LCR and The Garage & Young Norfolk Arts Festival Stage at The Royal Norfolk Show.
We are looking to build a small team who will take part in 6 weekly sessions in the lead up to the events, learning about equipment, stage set up, sound, lighting and stage management. The team will work with under the guidance of our professional technician, contributing to the planning and design of the technical aspects, and gain hands on experience at the events helping to run the stages.
This opportunity would suit people who have some interest, experience or training in working backstage and are looking to develop their skills.
This is a free training and development opportunity funded by the National Foundation for Youth Music & The Norfolk Music Hub managed by The Young Norfolk Arts Trust and The Garage.
